State Rep. Gloria Johnson, from the Knoxville area, will visit Pulaski Oct. 21 to discuss her campaign for the U. S.. Senate.
Johnson will be at Campbell Chapel A.M.E. Church at 2 p.m. Her visit is sponsored by the Giles County Democratic Party.
Johnson is seeking the nomination of the Tennessee Democratic Party in her bid to unseat the likely Republican nominee, incumbent Sen, Marsha Blackburn,
A special education teacher of 27 years, Johnson was elected to the Tennessee House of Representatives in 2012, a seat she has retained. She represents the 90th District.
She has served on the Criminal Justice and Education Instruction committees and subcommittees and on the Insurance Committee.
